6th grade magnet lab: Non Contact Forces

On Thursday, October 10th: Wear your Coupland gear and, if you choose, mums or garters! Homecoming games are this Thursday after school; Support our Volleyball and Football teams!

Last week, Mrs. Royce's students were using canva to design home offices. They were learning how to describe hardware vs software. Some are designing rooms that would have video games, and some are designing home offices. This week they will have to describe which cloud based services they will use or if they will have local storage devices.

On Saturday, Mrs. Lake took some of our chess players to the 2024 National Chess Week Scholastic at Paragon Prep in Austin! What an amazing group and a great opportunity! ♟️

You are invited to our Homecoming Games on Thursday, October 10th! Volleyball (4pm) and Football (5:30)! On Thursday, October 10th, please wear any Coupland swag you have (or blue!). Mums and Garters are permitted!

Officer Cobb from Texas Highway patrol came to visit Pre-K today and gave them a lot of goodies! (stuffed animals, bracelets, coloring books and badges) Thank you to Mrs. Pierce for organizing all of these amazing community helper events!

PreK had so much fun getting to see real firefighters and their awesome fire truck and tools. They had so much fun learning about firefighters! They even got to pretend to be firefighters in our class Fire Station!!  🚒 🧯🔥🧑‍🚒 (More photos on Facebook)

As elementary students learned about Authority Figures, we received a visit from the Texas DPS Airborne Unit. Thank you to Trooper Glass and Trooper Gonzales for letting our students see "the Beast" up close and personal.

Mrs. O’Neill’s class was using their big imaginations over the past couple of weeks! They had so much fun pretending to be a Pizza Chef, Waiter/Waitress, Delivery Driver, and Customers at our "Pre-k Pizza Cafe". 🍕👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 Next week we get to use our imagination as we get to have fun playing in our “Pre-k Fire Station”! Thank you to Terry Gaskin and Trey Hewtty from the Wilco Office of Emergency Management for reading and giving books on preparedness to our K, 1st and 2nd grade students! They said our kids asked great questions!

A nice, cool, sun-shining morning for the XC meet in Somerville! 🏃🏃‍♀️ This was a great season!
